On which devices is Artlume available?
Artlume is a proprietary platform that includes TV and mobile apps featuring amazing content from a wide range of sources and content providers all managed by a sophisticated Content Management System (CMS). Our TV apps are compatible with LG Smart TVs, Android-compatible Smart TVs, Samsung (US) and streaming devices like Chromecast, Apple TV, and Fire TV Stick. Our mobile app is available for iOS and Android smartphones.
How does the Artlume TV app work?
Artlume was designed and developed for the big screen. Our TV app transforms your screens into a stunning image gallery. Simply download the app from your TV’s app store (search for \"Artlume\"), create a free account, and start accessing incredible content. You can use the TV app independently, or enhance your experience by using the mobile app to easily navigate collections and create playlists. These playlists are saved in \"Your Gallery\" and are readily available for display on the TV app. You must download the TV to enjoy the full experience.
How does the Artlume mobile app work?
The Artlume mobile app is a companion to the TV app and lets you explore and navigate our library of images while on the go. You can browse through various themes, styles, brands, featured artists, moods, and more. Discover “Made for You” playlists, favourite artworks and create personalised playlists. With thousands of artworks available, you can transform your walls and home decor instantly.
Can I view Artlume content on my web browser?
Yes! You can view all your content, manage your playlists, and more from any web browser. Simply log in at artlume.io using the Log in button in the top-right corner and your usual credentials.
What is the cost of Artlume?
Artlume is committed to making art accessible and affordable for everyone. Upon setting up an account, users will automatically have a 14 day free trial to explore the app as a Premium user and enjoy the full catalogue of content. As well as our paid subscriptions, we also offer a free version with a limited selection of content. Explore the different pricing options here.
What are Exclusive Bundles?
Exclusive Bundles are specially curated collections of digital content available only on Artlume. Each bundle is built around a theme within the mindfulness, sport, gaming, and entertainment industries and includes unique works you won’t find anywhere else. You don’t need a full Artlume subscription to enjoy them, just a free Artlume account. Once you unlock a bundle, it’s yours to keep and stream anytime, directly on your TV or through the mobile app. New bundles are released regularly, so you can keep expanding your collection.

What if I don’t have a Smart TV, can I still use the Artlume app?
Absolutely! Even if you don’t own a Smart TV, you can still access Artlume through internet-connected dongles. These include popular devices like Chromecast, Firestick, Apple TV and Android TV devices.
How do I set up an account?
You can create an Artlume account quickly through our website or the Artlume mobile app. All you need is an email address and a password — no personal details or credit card required. When you sign up, you’ll automatically enjoy a 14-day free trial of our Premium plan, giving you full access to our entire collection of over 15,000 artworks and images.After the trial, if you don’t upgrade, your account will simply switch to the Free plan, which includes a curated selection of around 50 images.
How do I download Artlume?
Downloading Artlume is easy and free. Simply head to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the mobile app at no cost. For your compatible Smart TV or internet-connected dongle, you'll need to download the TV App from your device’s App Store. Just search for “Artlume” and install it. The Artlume TV app enables you to effortlessly display art and images on your TV and screens.
How do I connect the Artlume Mobile and TV Apps?
It’s important to connect your TV and mobile apps so that they are synced. Once inside the mobile app, simply click on the pink TV icon located on the top right hand corner. This will generate a 6 figure numerical code that will need to be entered on the TV app when prompted.
How do I disable the screen saver on my Apple TV?
To prevent the Apple TV screen saver from automatically activating while Artlume is playing, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings on your Apple TV
- Select General (or Screen Saver, depending on your tvOS version)
- Choose Screen Saver
- Select Start After and change it to Never
How do I ensure uninterrupted playback on my Apple TV?
To prevent the Apple TV screen saver from automatically activating while Artlume is playing, follow these steps:

- Choose Sleep After

- Choose Ambient Mode or Screen Saver (depending on your device)
- Select When to start and change it to Never
How do I ensure uninterrupted playback on my Google TV?
To keep Artlume playing continuously without your Google TV going to sleep:
- Go to Settings on your Google TV
- Select System
- Choose Energy Saver or Power & Energy (depending on your device model)
- Set Sleep or Turn off display to Never
How do I upgrade to a paid subscription?
Our paid subscriptions open up the full world of our art catalogue which is growing weekly. To upgrade, you can go to the Settings page of your mobile app, TV app or web app and go to Subscriptions. You can then select between Premium and Premium+ plans. You will be given the choice to pay monthly or obtain substantial savings with our annual plans. At this stage, you will need to provide the necessary personal data and credit card details so that your subscription can be processed.
I changed my mind. How do I switch subscriptions?
Switching subscriptions on Artlume is simple. Just log into your account on the Artlume website and go to the “Subscription” section. From there, you can easily switch from a monthly to an annual subscription, or vice versa. Please note: If you’ve already subscribed to an annual plan, you’ll need to wait until it expires before switching to a monthly plan.
I haven’t received any confirmation emails, what do I do now?
First, please check your spam and junk folders in your email inbox. If you still can’t find a confirmation email, don’t worry! Please email support@artlume.io and our team will promptly assist you. Expect a response within 48 hours.
How much does it cost to run Artlume on my TV?
Very little. Having your TV on for an extra 2 hours a day on a typical 43" TV uses around 0.18 kWh — that's roughly 5p per day, or under £1.5 per month at an electricity price of 27p/kWh.

How can I submit my work to be included on the Artlume platform?
We are always on the lookout for talented artists to join the platform. Please email our Content Manager Sara with a link to your website, portfolio or Instagram page and to receive our Artist Brochure containing all the relevant information you will need to learn about the benefits of joining Artlume.
What’s the process?
Artists will be encouraged to upload as many works as they like and once content is approved, it is promoted via the Artlume TV and mobile app to a growing customer base. All content gets exposure on the app. Artlume curates playlists of the best content / new content / content based on specific preferences.
How do artists benefit from being on the platform?
Artists featured on Artlume will be able to showcase their work, build visibility to a huge new audience, drive sales to their original artworks and access a new revenue stream.
